Inspiring Performance Every Day

The Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games begin on 24 August 2021 and end on 5 September (following the Olympic Games which began on 23 July and concluded on 8 August). The Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games will feature a total of 22 sports. Badminton and Taekwondo will be making their debut at these Games.

High Performance Sport New Zealand’s world-leading technical innovations and globally-recognised experts in disciplines such as Performance Physiology, Performance Nutrition and Strength and Conditioning have been an integral part of New Zealand’s Paralympic and Olympic campaigns in the lead up to Tokyo. Working in partnership with sports organisations, athletes and coaches, 365 days per year, our goal is support the team and deliver an all-important performance advantage.
