New Zealand Summer Olympic Results

Rio 2016 Summer Olympic Games delivered New Zealand’s best ever Olympic result of 18 medals – a 38% increase on London 2012. Medals were achieved across nine sports, more than any previous games. Four sports multi-medalled in Rio, while podium performance was also achieved in two campaign sports.

NEW ZEALAND WINTER OLYMPIC RESULTS

Pyeongchang 2018 Winter Olympic Games delivered New Zealand’s best ever Olympic result of 2 medals. Medals were achieved in the inaugural big-air snowboarding competition and the Men’s Ski Halfpipe, which made the games the most successful Winter Games for New Zealand.

New Zealand Summer Paralympic Results

Rio 2016 Summer Paralympic Games saw New Zealand retain their position as #1 country per capita. The 31-member delegation collected 21 medals at the Games: nine gold, five silver and seven bronze. This was the second-largest number of medals won by New Zealand behind the 1984 Games, while the number of gold medals achieved equalling the record of nine achieved at the 1996 Games.

NEW ZEALAND WINTER PARALYMPIC RESULTS

Pyeongchang 2018 Winter Paralympic Games delivered New Zealand’s best Paralympic result since Salt Lake City 2002. New Zealand finished 16th on the overall medal table with one gold and two bronze medals.
