Athlete Wellbeing

HPSNZ provides wide-ranging health and wellbeing support for high performance athletes as well as information, resources and development opportunities.

We believe wellbeing can provide a performance advantage for our high performance athletes and health focussed performance medicine, nutrition, physiotherapy and massage are all vital parts of HPSNZ’s Performance Support services. In combination with that our team of Athlete Life Advisors provide support and coaching in areas such as professional development, transitions, and life balance to maximise performance and wellbeing in sport and life. 

We find ways to reduce the chances of injury and illness – two of the biggest obstacles to success our athletes face. And we offer guidance to athletes on navigating transitions in sport and life, maintaining balance alongside the demands of high performance sport, as well as opportunities for professional and personal development.
